Doto pita is a species of sea slug, a small nudibranch, a shell-less marine gastropod mollusk in the family Dotidae.
Doto pita occurs in the Caribbean Sea and tropical west Atlantic Ocean, from Brazil to Florida. Reports from Japan (Baba, 1971), and New Zealand (Morton and Millar, 1968), may be the result of accidental transport by human agency.
The length of the animal is up to 12 mm.
